My approach and how it is different
For many people, they go through years of depression, trying different treatment options and lifestyle changes, only to continue to feel stuck.
When treating long-term depression, I explore all angles to identify the contributing factors. My approach leans heavily into acceptance. Rather than having an expectation to make the depression disappear forever, we will work on assuming depression is part of life and learning what you can change and implement to exist alongside these depressive states.
Together we will identify how to support your nervous system, reprocess past experiences contributing to negative beliefs, and rewire your brain to better support a positive mindset.
